Home Tours Q & A


Ticket Purchase

Prior to the first day of the tour:
● OIRF.org (events/home tour tickets)
● Museum Shop from 10:00 – 4:00 (open 7 days a week)

Home Tour Dates
● March 15/16, 2024
● Note: homes are open from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM

Cost:
● $45 per individual if museum member
● $55 per individual if non-museum member

Day of the Tour:
● OIRF.org (events/home tour tickets)
● Museum Shop at 322 Duval St from 10:00 – 4:00 (open 7 days)
● At any home that is on the tour
Cost:
● $60 per individual if museum member or non-member

Ticket Pick up
● Museum Shop from 10:00 – 4:00 (open 7 days)
● At any house on the tour THE DAY OF THE TOUR
● Note: Must show receipt for ticket purchase

Refunds
We can not refund money paid for tickets no matter the circumstances. Legally the money is a donation to a
501C3 non-profit organization which does not allow for refunds.

When do I receive the addresses of homes included in the tour?
● Actual addresses are not published until a week prior to the tour start date to protect the privacy of the home owners who have graciously offered to open their homes for the tour
● You will receive an e mail from OIRF no later than 5 days before the tour begins
● When you pick up the ticket – addresses and map are on the ticket

How do I become a member of the Oldest House so I can get a discount on the tickets?
● Go to OIRF.org and click on “membership” to sign up online
● Come to the Museum Shop at 322 Duval St to sign up
Membership Cost:
● $100 Individual (one adult)
● $125 Dual (two adults living in the same household)
● $150 Family (two adults and up to 4 children living in the same household)

Is there any transportation between homes on the tours?
There is no formal transportation provided. Please consider moving between homes by walking, bicycle, or
using Uber or Lyft. There will be no designated parking for personal vehicles.

Are children allowed on the tours?
Children are allowed on the tour but must be accompanied by an adult at all times

Home Rules
● No smoking
● No pets
● No food or drink
● No photos unless specifically authorized by the homeowner
● Note: homes are not handicap accessible


Why is the Oldest House Museum on the tour again this year?
Our curator has been busy upgrading the furnishing and exhibits over the past year. Even if you have visited before, please come back to see all the wonderful changes!
